My name is JJ Traynor and I am the Financial Controller at TMC.
When I graduated from Maynooth University I wanted to pursue an ACA Chartered Accountants qualification. TMC paid for my course fees and provided me with full paid study leave for the periods when I had my exams. TMC were always encouraging me to better myself and fully supported my progression. TMC also has given me relevant experience in the agri-foods sector and there is an emphasis placed on being actively involved in the business rather than tracking numbers from afar.
One thing I have really enjoyed about my work is that I am actively involved in the management of the business and I manage business functions alongside my accounting responsibilities. I believe that this makes me understand the accountancy side of the business through understanding the key drivers of performance within the business.
TMC has definitely allowed me to grow within the company from Trainee Accountant to Financial Controller. TMC offers these opportunities right across the business and is an ideal destination for ambitious hungry graduates.
